Exhibition of artwork created to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the battle of Cinderloo

Venue is at Coalbrookdale in gallery space next to Enginuity

Coalbrookdale gallery, Museum of Iron, Coach Road. TF8 7DQ

Between 23rd October and 4th December 2021

For the last 4 years Cinderloo 1821 the community group established to mark the 200th anniversary of the battle of Cinderloo have organised events, written articles, produced art and worked with local schools and community groups to create content that fills in the missing pieces of the story largely overlooked for the last 200 years.

We are bringing together the works produced by the project and its supporters in an exhibition to celebrate and thank all the participants that have taken part and provide an opportunity to share the work with the public.

There will be a viewing of the exhibition for our members and supporters on Saturday 23rd October after which the exhibition will be open to the public to drop in and view between 10 – 4 each weekend util the end of November

We are looking for people to assist with the setting up of the exhibition and to volunteer to supervise the exhibition during opening times
