Children from Mr Baker’s and Miss Russell’s Year 5 Classes at John Fletcher of Madeley Primary School worked on two projects with creative practitioners Jean Atkin, Andrew Howe and Jill Impey to map their local area during March 2022. They learned about their local history, its connections to the Cinderloo story and how the landscape has changed. Together they produced a collaborative collage map for each class incorporating prints, drawings and poetry, and an online StoryMap in which the pupils introduce their map and lines from their poems in short videos:
